Small Things Make Me Happy

August 9th, 2013 at 01:25 am

I received a $10 Kohl's promotional coupon. $10 off any purchase. I know it's just their attempt at trying people to get something bigger and spend more money. But when I get a coupon like that, I usually buy something small worth $10-$12, and feel ecstatic at only having to spend $1-$2. It's silly, but it makes me happy. It's a nice "almost" freebie to have.

That is what I do, too! I think the last time I had one of those I bought socks and tissue paper to make it to the minimum and paid $1.05 out of pocket. Not bad for two useful items. Smile

I do that too and it does make a difference. I got myself pajamas from Sears that way for $2 and was so happy.

I do that too and yes, i feel irrationally satisfied at having spent a dollar or two over the coupon value, at most.

Are you kidding - I thought we all do this?! I NEVER EVER have enough new underwear or socks. I can get in and out of there in 10 min. Ditto Penney's.

I do the same thing! I think one time I bought Father's Day cards with the coupon. Love it when they send those out.
